Preview Spike Lee’s Michael Jackson Documentary Feat. David Byrne & More

Spike Lee is now set to unveil his documentary Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown To Off The Wall which will make its way to the Sundance Film Festival later this month before airing on Showtime. The director tapped Questlove, David Byrne, The Weeknd, Pharrell, Kobe Bryant, Lee Daniels, Misty Copeland, Mark Ronson, John Legend, and L.A. Reid to reflect on how MJ’s monumental classic Off The Wall shaped their musical tastes as well as Jackson’s parents, Katherine and Joe, sit down for interviews. The film also features rare, remastered concert footage from MJ’s Off The Wall Tour. Watch the first preview below.

Listen Pharrell & Scott Weiland’s Previously Unreleased “Happy”

Nine years ago, Pharrell Williams worked on a third track called “Happy,” this one with former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland. It was recorded in 2006 for Weiland’s sophomore solo album, but it was shelved after Williams claimed the track for himself. Weiland’s album was called “Happy” In Galoshes, an apparent nod to the track that never made it on the album, and it showed up on a promo CD that was sent out before the album’s official release. The 34th edition of the British music annual awards The 2014 BRIT Awards were held on Feb. 19th. This year edition ceremony took place at The O2 Arena in London, hosted by James Corden saw Arctic Monkeys and One Direction both won the most awards. There held with such performance by Arctic Monkeys, Arctic Monkeys, Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, Bastille, Lorde and Disclosure and other several artists. Watch those performance of that night below:

Daft Punk release “Get Lucky” for download – Listen

Daft Punk’s new song “Get Lucky” was the first track from their often-rumoured, finally-confirmed, and much-anticipated new album Random Access Memories.
