Bob Dylan is preparing for next release of his massive box sets The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12. The collection focuses on the mid-'60s, and now an alternate version of his 1966’s Blonde On Blonde song “Visions Of Johanna” has gotten a video. The alternate version more rock-oriented than the original one and the video compiled an archival footage of the singer is intercut with late-night shots of New York City as well as cryptic images – snakes in the bed, fake eyelashes in water, the moon, sex, death and destruction. The video directed by Nick Cave and INXS collaborator, John Hillcoat. Watch the alternate music video below.
