Carrie Brownstein just released her new book Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl this week. The Sleater-Kinney singer and Portlandia cast discussed the book with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. They discussed on the book’s title, their appreciation of awkward situations, whether or not she’s “cool,” and how performing as a comedian compares to performing with Sleater-Kinney.
