Last Saturday in the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted episode of Saturday Night Live, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band were the musical guests on the night. They performed two songs on their recent The Ties That Bind: The River Collection box set, “Meet Me In The City” and “The Ties That Bind,” and for a special post-credits surprise, Paul McCartney, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and the entire SNL cast joined the band for a festive rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” Watch all the performances below.

Paul McCartney’s reissuing a remastered version of his 1983 album Pipes of Peace, which contained a chart-topping duet with Michael Jackson, and to promote it he’s shared the “Say Say Say (2015 Remix)” which contains previously unused vocals from Jackson along with plenty of McCartney’s signature harmonica. This new remix also features DJ John “Jellybean” Benitez’s instrumental remix of the song. The video for the clip was directed and choreographed by Ryan Heffington. Watch it below.

Paul McCartney will add two more entries to his recent reissue series, deluxe versions of his solo albums Tug Of War (1982) and Pipes Of Peace (1983) in early next month. Today McCartney share a brand new remaster of the latter’s title track. As for the tune, it remains unmistakably the work of pop’s greatest songwriter. Listen below.

A film documentary of the Hurricane Sandy benefit show at the Madison Square Garden for Hurricane Sandy victims, 12-12-12 will be released on November 15th in Los Angeles and New York. The documentary highlights the concert that took place last December in New York at Madison Square Garden featured performances by Paul McCartney with Nirvana surviving members, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder and other artists. [WATCH] Paul McCartney Perform with Nirvana in Seattle

Since the last time Paul McCartney and surviving members of Nirvana (Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear) performed together last year on 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert and Saturday Night Live in New York, its never called a full stop when they reunited again to perform their song off Dave Grohl’s Sound City movie project “Cut Me Some Slack” and four the Beatles songs at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington. The last time Nirvana performed in their hometown of Seattle was on January 8, 1994.

Paul McCartney visit Stephen Colbert 6/12/2013

Paul McCartney stopped by The Colbert Report for an extended-hour long edition of the show. The episode of the night was all Paul McCartney with an lengthy interview with Stephen Colbert and followed by his mini concert performance.

In a brief conversation with Colbert, they talked the early days of Wings and their new reissue of Wings Over America, The Beatles’ evolution from pop heartthrobs to psych-rock geniuses, and the rational behind Paul, John, George, and Ringo’s decision to stop touring. Macca joined his longtime backing band for a five-song performance. The setlist of the performances included The Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face”, “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!”, and “Lady Madonna”, along with Wings’ “Hi, Hi, Hi” and “Listen To What the Man Said”.
