Watch Bruce Springsteen Play SNL With Paul McCartney

Last Saturday in the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted episode of Saturday Night Live, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band were the musical guests on the night. They performed two songs on their recent The Ties That Bind: The River Collection box set, “Meet Me In The City” and “The Ties That Bind,” and for a special post-credits surprise, Paul McCartney, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and the entire SNL cast joined the band for a festive rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” Watch all the performances below.

This weekend on Saturday Night Live episode, Bruce Springsteen are the musical guests and he’ll be performing with his long time band, E Street Band. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-hosting the show, and they’ve unveiled a promos. This is the third appearance as a musical guest for Springsteen. Watch the promos video below.

“The Boss” Bruce Springsteen stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday to talk The River reissue The Ties That Bind and his early rock band Steel Mill, which also boasted guitarist Steven Van Zandt. Springsteen elaborated on the story that he originally penned “Hungry Heart” for The Ramones. The Roots then delivered a snippet of what "Hungry Heart" would have sounded like if it wound up in the hands of the Ramones. Watch the full interview below.


Bruce Springsteen To Play SNL With Host Tina Fey & Amy Poehler

NBC recently announced the guests of their long running show Saturday Night Live Disember episodes of 41st season and Bruce Springsteen will serve as musical guest on its 9th episode of the season on Dec. 19 and will be co-hosted by actress Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Springsteen have been played on SNL for past 23 years since he made a debut on the show in 1992 (as seen in picture above.) It will be third times for Springsteen since their last appearing on the show on Matt Damon-hosted episode alongside E-Street Band in Oct. 2002.

Hot Chip – “Dancing In The Dark” (Bruce Springsteen Cover) Music Video

Hot Chip release a studio version of “Dancing In The Dark,” Bruce Springsteen’s synthpoppiest hit and one of his biggest. The cover leads off the group’s new Dancing In The Dark EP, which also features three remixes, including Soulwax’s take on “Huarache Lights.” Director Kieran Evans has put together a video for Hot Chip’s cover, which mixes footage of the band performing live with TV Carnage-style footage of old, cheesed-out ’80s public access television. Bruce Springsteen will release The Ties That Bind: The River Collection, a massive four-CD/three-DVD box set that covers everything he was doing around the time he released his classic 1980 double album The River. The set will include the remastered double album, as well as The River: The Single Album, the album that Springsteen recorded but never released in 1979. There’s also an album, a DVD documentary, a full live show from Tempe in 1980, a whole lot of rehearsal footage, and a 148-page coffee-table book. One of the unreleased songs is “Meet Me In The City,” an unreleased outtake. Listen to it below.

Bruce Springsteen made his way to the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as Fallon’s single guest of the night when Springsteen took over for full interview, did a parody sketch with Fallon and performed two songs with his band E Street Band and Tom Morello. The show begin when Fallon and Springsteen, both dressed like the ’80s version of Bruce, sing “Gov. Christie Traffic Jam,” a parody of “Born To Run” that called out New Jersey governor Chris Christie for the recent bridge-closure traffic scandal. In interview segment, there was lots of thoughtful talk about Springsteen’s origins and about his Miley Cyrus fandom. At the end Springsteen the new song “High Hopes” off his new album High Hopes and a cover of the Devlins’ “Heaven’s Wall.” Watch all below:

A film documentary of the Hurricane Sandy benefit show at the Madison Square Garden for Hurricane Sandy victims, 12-12-12 will be released on November 15th in Los Angeles and New York. The documentary highlights the concert that took place last December in New York at Madison Square Garden featured performances by Paul McCartney with Nirvana surviving members, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder and other artists.
