Pearl Jam performed “Not for You,” “Rearviewmirror” and “Daughter” on Saturday Night Live aired on 4/16/1994. The songs “Rearviewmirror” and “Daughter” is off their sophomore album Vs. (which turns 20 today). “Not for You” was played live for the first time on television almost eight months before the release of Vitalogy, the band third album. The episode aired eight days after the discovery of the body of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. During the goodnights, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder lifts his jacket to reveal the letter K written on his shirt as a tribute to Cobain. The show hosted by actor, Emilio Esteves.
