Radiohead – “Spectre”

Radiohead were used to record the theme for the new James Bond movie Spectre, but it didn’t end up happening, and it finally goes to Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall” to be main theme for the film. But it turns out that Radiohead actually did write a song for the film, “Spectre,” and they’ve decided to share it with as a special Christmas gift. And the track also available for free download. Frontman Thom Yorke also wrote a note about the track. Check it out below.

“Last year we were asked to write a theme tune for the Bond movie Spectre.
Yes we were. It didn’t work out, but became something of our own, which we love very much.
As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it.
Merry Christmas. May the force be with you.”
