Watch Alanis Morissette & James Corden Sing “Ironic” With Updated Lyrics On The Late Late Show

Last week, Alanis Morissette gave her 20-year-old song “Ironic” new legs by clucking out the tune with some help from Jimmy Fallon, Meghan Trainor and a couple of chicken suits on The Tonight Show. It was a great way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, but the Canadian singer wasn’t finished revamping the decidedly dated — and, let’s face it, non-ironic — track. On Monday’s The Late Late Show with James Corden, Morissette teamed up with James Corden – both donning the ski cap and thick braids the artist wore back in the 1996 video – for a performance of “Ironic.” Except this time, the lyrics were radically updated to reflect a 2015 world. Watch below plus Morrisette performed another Jagged Little Pill track “Head Over Feet.”
