Metric is six albums deep into this thing with no signs of slowing down — Pagans In Vegas follows 2012’s Synthetica, which was a better fifth record than any band of this caliber needed it to be. Not sure if Pagans In Vegas will live up to that, but a bunch of singles they’ve already shared that suggests it’s good: “The Shade,” “Cascades,” “Too Bad, So Sad,” “Fortunes,” and “Lie, Lie, Lie” have all been promising enough, and Metric is a band who always seem better on the deeper cuts anyway. Pagans In Vegas is streaming now via The New York Times, or check that out below.
Pagans In Vegas is out on 9/18/15 via MMI. Pre-order on iTunes/Amazon
