Ten Commandos – “Staring Down The Dust” (Feat. Mark Lanegan)

Ten Commandos basically is a rock supergroup consisting Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron, Soundgarden’s Ben Shepherd, Queens Of The Stone Age’s Alain Johannes, and OFF! member Dimitri Coats. Their new single, “Staring Down The Dust,” off of their forthcoming debut album, features vocals by Screaming Trees frontman and part-time Queen Of The Stone Age Mark Lanegan. All of the members of Ten Commandos have collaborated with one another in the past, and Cameron told Rolling Stone that this is the first song the group recorded together. Listen below via Spotify.

[LISTEN] Soundgarden Screaming Life/Fopp EP

As previously reported, Soundgarden forthcoming compilation release brings together 1987’s Screaming Life with the 1988 follow-up EP Fopp, as well as the "Sub Pop Rock City" from 1988’s Sub Pop 200 compilation. While a 1990 CD release had included both EPs, the compilation track is a bonus for the 2013 edition, which arrives on CD, double-LP and digitally. Soundgarden Screaming Life/Fopp EP To be Reissue by Sub Pop

Sub Pop record label will reissue Soundgarden’s first two EPs, Screaming Life/Fopp, originally released in 1990, in next month. All the songs have been remastered by producer Jack Endino. Endino stated that was first real records he made for anyone outside his own band.

Soundgarden “Rusty Cage” Featured On New Toyota Commercial

The all-new 2014 Toyota Corolla has been completely elevated with a new look and advanced technology and in their new commercial featured an evolution of the style along with the music evolved through the years since 60s. Soundgarden’s 1992 song “Rusty Cage” appears on 0.27 minute into the video for their 90s edition. The one minute video also featured Chic’s “Le Freak” in 70s spot in earlier. Soundgarden reveal “King Animal” cover artwork, album tralier

Soundgarden revealed the cover artwork and an 85-second teaser trailer for its forthcoming new studio album King Animal, the reunited group’s first new studio album in 16 years. The album arrives November 13, 2012 and will be Soundgarden’s first since Down on the Upside in 1996.
